The community of Campbellsville, Kentucky is mourning the death of Allie Woodrum, a beloved mother, fiancée, and professional whose passing has left family, friends, and loved ones heartbroken after days of hoping for her recovery.
Woodrum, who was engaged to Phillip Medina, was remembered as a woman deeply loved by those closest to her. In a heartbreaking tribute, Medina described Allie as his world and the reason he smiled every day, mourning the future they had planned together. Her sister, Shelby R. Wood, also shared that Allie “fought long and hard with everything she had,” but that the damage to her body was too severe, and she passed away peacefully surrounded by love.
Allie worked as a Senior HR Generalist at Manchester Tank & Equipment Company and had studied at Campbellsville University. Beyond her professional life, 
she was cherished most for the role she played within her family. Her sister’s tribute also highlighted the grief of her son Knox, who has been trying to process the loss of his mother while being comforted by the family’s faith.
