shared that Jerrist passed away at 4:33 a.m. on the very day of his birthday, a heartbreaking detail that gave the day an even deeper meaning for his family. Alvin described it as both his son’s earthly birthday and his eternal birthday, and shared that the family chose to honor him by going to his favorite restaurant, Cheesecake Factory, to celebrate his life and the memories he left behind.
